Devices and Field API
Reading the log
Field API serves the current station log, up to 100 QSOs per page. It is not yet a Field application or an offline sync protocol. A cursor fetches the next page; it is not a change checkpoint.
Token
Under Account → Devices and Field API, choose Field: read log only. The secret is shown once; store it locally and privately. A read token cannot write QSOs or status. Old agent tokens require separate consent for log reading.
Checking access
“Test connection” shows the first page through the owner's session, without a token. A client uses GET /api/v1/field/qsos?limit=100 with the header Authorization: Bearer PLACEHOLDER_TOKEN. Never put a secret in a URL or browser storage.
Access blocks
Revocation, station suspension or account deletion blocks access. Data from other stations is deliberately unavailable: each token belongs to one station. The detailed contract is in docs/FIELD-API.md in the repository.
